Robertsbridge Bonfire ad Torchlight procession. The Sussex bonfire season goes out with a bang with the Robertsbridge Bonfire and Torchlight Procession.. Don't miss out on the fun when the procession sets off from Station Road, ending at the recreation ground where the enormous bonfire will be set lit, followed by the firework spectacular. Don't leave until you've watched the explosion of this year's controversial effigy - top secret until Saturday afternoon! Look out for the Robertsbridge Bonfire Society in the procession - they're the ones dressed as monks.
Route: Station Road, up George Hill, back down the hill and through the village to the A21. About-turn again back to the recreation ground.

Robertsbridge Bonfire sees the end of the Sussex bonfire season.Torchlight procession starts: 19.00 (approximately). Bonfire and fireworks display at 20.30. Route: Station Road, up George Hill, back down the hill and through the village to the A21. About-turn again back to the recreation ground.

Robertsbridge Bonfire Society. Torchlit Processions with Visiting Societies, Marching Bands, Bonfire and Firework Display with Tabs and Setpieces.
This is a small traditional village bonfire society orientated event. (Patsy will run a coach leaving Rye Station at 5.15 pm LATEST to avoid road closures.
There may be members wishing pick up from Peasmarsh where departure time will be 5.00pm.

The evening begins with a torchlit procession which includes visiting bonfire societies. The procession starts at Station Road, heads up George Hill, then comes back down the hill and all the way through the village to the A21. Its then about-turns again back to the Recreation ground. The fireworks and bonfire are lit. The evening ends with the destruction of an Effigy that represents a prominent feature of the year! Venue: Station Road, Robertsbridge,
