Brightling in East Sussex Village Guide

Grants Cottages

Hi,

During the war my Mother was evacuated to Brightling and stayed with a couple called Bert and Eva at No2? Grants Cottages. We visited them many times in the 60’s and 70’s but never managed to get a picture of the place, can anyone help?

Many thanks,

Barry

I live at Number 2 Grants Cottage and have photos for you. Send me your email address and I will send them to you direct. You will probably remember Connie Selmes, Eva’s neighbour, she still lives at number 1. What is your surname and I will ask Connie if she remembers your mother.
